Wilbraham is a beautiful town in Hampden County, Massachusetts; a suburb of the city of Springfield. The population was 14,868 at the 2010 census. Wilbraham is made up of several neighborhoods, known as Wilbraham Center, North Wilbraham, East Wilbraham, Wilbraham Mountain, South Wilbraham, Boston Road Corridor and the Pines Section. In 1878, the south end of Wilbraham officially broke away from Wilbraham and formed the Town of Hampden. As for housing, you can find a mix of older homes, as well as several developments with new construction. The regional High School is a beautiful new building and serves students from both Wilbraham and Hampden. Wilbraham is home to the restaurant chain, Friendly'sand also the private school, Wilbraham & Monson Academy.
